Going back to warmer memories

This was not taken today, not even this year. The weather was cold, grey and dull and I did not particularly want to go outside. So I spent my first day on vacation inside for the most parts and was looking though and working on some old photos I took on my summer vacation up north two years ago. This one I took in a forest we went for a hike in. I really like tree silhouettes like this and I already have a similar one printed out and hung up on my living room wall. Maybe I'll make a series out of it.

Although my day was kind of quiet I managed to go to the movies to see an Icelandic documentary. It was not a traditional documentary and I'm not sure I would define the movie as such, it reminded me more of a introduction film for tourists to visit Iceland. Beautiful sceneries, lots of landscapes with lava and northern lights. To top it off I was the only one in the audience so it was like I was having my very own private viewing.
