Another water shot
I spent most of the day wandering around Wastwater whilst Mrs W worked in Calder Bridge.
It was very windy (white caps on the water) and quite chilly, needed hat to keep brain warm and gloves to retain feeling in my fingers to be able to use camera!
Lots of heavy, low cloud and initial look through my pictures is a little disappointing. Took loads of bracketed shots to try and balance bright white patches of cloud with dark hills. Maybe need to look a little more closely and process some.
Blip shot is my last shot of the day (typical) which was taken in Calder Bridge just a short distance from where I was due to meet Mrs W.
I liked the shot because of the number of little cascades over the rocks. I had to use an ND 0.9 grad sideways to hold back the left side of the shot and to expose some detail under the overhanging rocks on the right.
Final day of mini break tomorrow - heading to North Lakes - and probably fighting holiday traffic!
