Fun in the Park

We saw Mrs C and the boys again today but had a change of venue - they came to us!
Mr L and Mr R had been keen to watch Frozen and Miss E put it on as soon as they got here. But Coolmaths games took all their attention so Mrs C and I settled down with a cup of tea and watched it by ourselves!!
We've decided to revisit Beauty and The Beast as soon as the children are back at school!
We had lunch and then Mr L had to go to tennis.
Then three hours later we met again at Padbury park!
I was watching Miss E teetering along at the top of the climbing frame - ten foot up in the air - and was worrying that she'd fall. Every bone in my body wanted to make her get down and stay on the ground where it's safe.....
But you can't can you? You need to let them be children!
Naturally two minutes later she fell off - not from the top thank goodness but high enough to proper hurt her wrist.
She tried to be brave but every now and then dissolved into genuine anguished tears. Poor thing!
But she was cheered up later in the evening when we went to collect the new car.
She was less happy when she got stung by a wasp in Go Outdoors
She screamed the place down but then managed to be brave and battle on to look at tents!
She's been in the wars bless her!
Calpol and cuddles when we got home and she went to sleep happy!
