A slice of Lesley's life

Going nowhere

As if. This holiday very possibly hasn't quite contained enough of the going nowhereness which is interesting as before it started I was concerned we didn't have enough plans and everyone might get a bit bored. Not so.

The morning was at home with some homework finishing off, a singing lesson for Anna and finishing off a project for a friend. Oh, and the tiniest amount of work possible. And a lot of laundry related jobs for J. He has decided to collect the World Cup football cards and has developed a keenness to do whatever jobs he can to earn extra 50ps to buy more packs of cards. Which is only to be encouraged.

Afternoon out first in Kensington Gardens with the intention of going to the Diana Memorial park but there were long queues to even get in and if you did not sure there would be room to run around without squashing a toddler or two. So we camped out near the lake for a bit and the kids ran around before heading to Holland Park for tea, ice-cream, the adventure playground and more general running around the woods.

With a little interlude for a go on the exercise bikes (they're not quite big enough to use them for real just yet).
