Happy Mrs Chickens

The additional extensions for the Eglu arrived yesterday so today we moved the chickens to what will now be their permanent home. Their 'winter' home is to become a veg patch.

The plan is to let them free range when we're home but keep them fox proofed when we're out, hence the bigger cage.

We just sat down with our celebratory cup of tea when Heidi and Jon arrived with James and Waffy. Oh and some sloe gin. Tonight could get messy...
