Acer in the garden

Chores day today (paying for the freedom of yesterday!). But as it's short break season, there's lots of washing and ironing to be done. So only a quick trip out to the garden to photograph this wee acer which is the only one of 3 to survive. I bought my husband 3 different ones for his birthday a few years ago and this one has taken over the space intended for all 3.
