Queen Alexandra's Memorial

This is the memorial to Queen Alexandra (1844-1925), wife of Edward VII outside St James's Palace.

Designed by Alfred Gilbert, it is sometimes called London's only art nouveau monument.

I pass it when I go to the London Library. Today I was collecting an obscure novel by Robert Graves which will be my Easter holiday reading.
