Orange

As I sat in a bed of nettles...then regretted it...I was thankful that she stayed put when I let out a loud yelp. Even with boots and jeans on they really did sting!

On the banks of the canal at Coombe Hill Nature Reserve there seemed to be one or two butterflies sitting fairly quietly rather than giving me the usual flighty chase over the fields. Both dogs were waiting expectantly for a walk and Poppy bless her thought by walking carefully in front of the camera it might remind me what we supposed to be there for. Aaargh...off she flew!!!

Lovely to see here on a grass stem this female orange tip was just gorgeous.
