Battle of Bannockburn Rotunda Poem

This is part of the commemorative poem inscribed on the timber ring crowning the new rotunda at the Battle of Bannockburn site. It was written by Kathleen Jamie, poet in residence at the University of Stirling and finally fulfils the intention of the designer of the original rotunda to have an inscription on the building.
The re furbished site along with the new Visitor centre is an attractive area and will no doubt be a popular place to visit in this year especially.
