I went over to my favourite place today for a break from the computer and a walk beside the Wear. Some of the most enjoyable times during my studies in Durham were when I had 9 a.m. classes in some of the buildings around Palace Green here, and would walk along the riverside walks and through the Cathedral before I started. I felt really privileged.

And yes, the postbox really is at that drunken angle for no discernible reason.
