Bright
13.5C becoming bright as the morning passed. Windy with speeds of up to 25 mph gusting to 45 mph late morning.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. As we set off on our usual route I thought a blip of the three trees with some light on them might be in order. The recently planted cereal crop can be seen greening up the field.
The roadworks on the shore road look near to completion.
Down on the beach the tide was out a fair way.
As we walked towards Westhaven Maeve spotted the young Springer Spaniel she had been running about with the oother day. I let her off her lead and off she ran to meet her new friend. They had another run about, this time not ending up in the sea.
Later I spent some time in the garage, which doubles as my potting shed. I planted up this years vegetable seeds that start in pots or modules. Courgettes, Dwarf French Beans, Leeks, and two varieties of Tomato. I sowed a tray of salad too. There will be more trays of salad as the season progresses. Beetroot, Spring Onion, and Parsley will be sown directly into the soil later.
