Steamin' in Bo'ness.
We took a little side trip to Bo'ness thinking to give the dogs a stroll along the foreshore and, if we were lucky, catch a steam train on the heritage line.
The walk was short as it was blowing a hoolie and the Forth was dark grey and covered with white-caps. We turned to see this little train slipping quietly out of the station. Not a hoot or toot was given to alert us but we quickly grabbed cameras and took a couple of shots. The little engine is a 1945 built 0-6-0 saddle tank of an old wartime "austerity" design.
The girls have has their spring haircuts and are already curled up snoozing off the "trauma"!
