Profitis Ilias

This is the view from behind the monastery of Profitis Ilias, about an hours walk from my house. The monastery is set on the mountain side in an enclosed courtyard and the chapels within are worthy of a picture in their own right. Pedi harbour and the Turkish mountains are seen beyond. As I write this the Easter celebrations are being set and the first blast of dynamite has just rattled the windows! The cat has just leaped a mile off my lap!
