Pink fluff!
Grey clouds for the early circuit of St Ives estate this morning so nothing very exciting for a blip except a clump of primroses in the woods and some pussy willow by Coppice Pond.
On return to the village the lovely pink blossom trees lining one of our main axis roads were looking a delight of candy floss pink despite the lack of sun. As you can see there are still a few daffodils in flower at their base too so this is my blip for today.
Interestingly the ones lining the other axis road, my one street, are not yet in flower and still have a profusion of daffodils along the verges. Not sure if that is down to a variation of species or climate. Maybe that will be a blip too in a couple of days.
Hope the sun returns soon.
