Fritillaria..

The spring flowering fritillaria comes in a variety of types, many of which I find attractive, at least to look at.

However, if ever there was a type of flower that reminded me of the saying "looks can be deceiving" this is it, since many types smell awful! Indeed some can smell very much like dog shit!

Nonetheless, I find the shape and colour of this one very attractive.
