The oldest house in Clifton.

I featured the back of this pretty house close to the centre of Clifton village in Bristol some time ago. The back is now the front and is in Kensington Place. The front is now the back garden , as shown, but used to be on a lane that crossed the fields , and possible, went down to Hotwells. The house ( circa 17 20?) was a small inn at some time in its history so times have changed, as I suspect , have the cladding and windows front and back and sides which now border on to adjacent terraces and apartments. Wow, that was a long sentence! I must master the comma!
