Before Morning Prayer

A glorious morning at the College of the Holy Spirit, Cumbrae, as I head to the Cathedral for Morning Prayer. The past three days have been a welcome retreat into another life, where my main concerns had to do with singing perfect plainsong and ensuring that the people here on individual Holy Week retreats were able to have a helpful experience at Evensong. The weather meant that the grounds have looked wonderful and the evenings were starlit and still.

Now I am once more home, dealing with mails and noticing that the larder is sadly lacking, but I count myself fortunate in the knowledge that the music and the cathedral are there for my next visit.
