Weekend Wednesday!

Seriously earnt this beer today!

Ran the gauntlet of B&Q this morning - along with 3000 other people all vying for pot plants and emulsion paint. Took forever to get out of the car park.. worse than the supermarkets on Christmas Eve!

Then went to pick up an industrial pressure-washer from the hire shop. Was a bit daunted when I first saw it as it was a mean and complicated looking thing and have to confess I did question the rationality of hiring the thing on a day when Mr M was away. After the nice man at the hire shop put it in the boot of my car for me, I was almost defeated at the first hurdle when I discovered the damned thing was almost too heavy for me to lift back out of the car! Eventually managed to wrestle the thing out of the boot and into the garden. It didn't take too long to fathom out how to work it, (it looked more complicated than it actually was). There then followed a very satisfying couple of hours of pressure-washing the bejesus out of every stationary object in my garden. My paving now looks like new and the garden furniture is sparkling! Marvelous!

Right then, weather.. I just need you to continue being glorious over the Easter weekend so that we can all get outside and enjoy the fruits of my labours!
