Graduands to Graduates

The first of my close friends received her B.A. today! Very exciting and very good weather for it.

The graduands marched from the Arts Centre (the former site of the university) to the Town Hall where the ceremony was held. This was around two hours in length but so worth every minute.

Outside there was barely room to take any decent photos as there was such a massive crowd, so we walked to the nearby hotel instead. Unfortunately, my charming camera had a fit and deleted my fantastic shot of Leish walking down the steps and alas, I am left with this one.
