Larvae

Digging over a spare bit of ground this morning to make a wildflower area I dug up this large milky white grub, about two inches long with small orange dots on the sides and a dark blue-grey tail end. I imagine its a moth larvae but would love to know what type or, if its not a moth, what is it? Anyone know?
