Repeat Performance —
— with a difference. Today I went to the other Willow in the garden, and photographed the only catkin currently on that.
It (the catkin, not the tree) was much younger than yesterday's, and was more compact and had more of a purple colour than the camera has recorded — and I am not competent to sort that out with post production— yet.
I like both stages of catkin, yellow and blue/purple. And I must say that this idea of Blipping has made me look a great deal more closely at everyday things to do with the created world than I used to. I especially love to use the camera for close-ups and to see things in a new light. But shortly, especially on holiday, I am hoping to get 'the bigger picture' and learn about landscape photography, where I feel I have done more 'snapshots' than making pictures, to date.
