Goodbye Jake

Today Jake and his mama leave for Portland. I loved this picture of him eating on the patio, where he would sit and watch the golfers and clap for their shots. It will be hard for him to go back to rainy Portland, and sad for us to have a quiet house! BUT we are headed home Friday so the separation won't be long! Thankful today for all the memories of golf cart rides, swims in the pool, sprinkles with the hose, golfing with his play clubs, and morning walks to coffee! 5:30 wake up calls are never as sweet as they are when it's a little voice singing!
