The Furoshiki.....

Started out as the cloth in which people carried their clothes and toiletries.

Later it came to be used to carry ( or wrap ) just about anything.

The Japanese have turned it into an art form.

The above is a beautiful piece of Furoshiki fabric....

Gifted to us in Tokyo by a lovely Japanese girl.....

And friend of our son while he was studying Japanese at the ARC Academy.

We decided to frame it.

The easel was designed and built by our daughter as one of her assignments...

In her final year at school.
