It all started two years ago today. Where do I start? Two years ago I thought this Blipfolio sounded like a fun thing to try. Could I really stick with blipping every single day for a year? Well, I was addicted shortly after starting. Then my second year started. It was a bit harder. Lots of things can happen in a two year period. My precious Cuddles passed away. (My blip friends were with me through her sickness and her passing.) What would I have done without your love and support during that period of time. How can we blippers explain to the world outside of our Blip Community what a special place this is. I was struggling trying to figure out how to move on without Cuddles. Within just a few days I went to the Humane Society to just look at other cats. I didn’t think I could possibly get another one. To my surprise just a few days later I adopted Libby. I was so worried what my blipper friends would think of me going out so soon and getting another cat. You all responded with encouragement saying you were so glad I did that and you thought it was the right thing for me to do. I was indeed because I was so depressed when I lost Cuddles. Libby is a sweet little girl. Nothing could ever replace Cuddles. Within the first year of having Libby she became really sick and I thought I might lose her. You blippers were there again to support and encourage me. Then I get this brilliant idea. Why not get Libby a playmate. I then went to the Humane Society again. I found Buddy Boy and adopted him. What was I thinking? It wasn’t love at first site for Libby & Buddy Boy. Somedays they seem to like each other, some days they tolerate each other. Really I do thing they’ve come to love each other. Some of you have probably become bored with so many of my cat blips. The one regret I have is that early in my first year I didn’t take more blips of Cuddles. I was so busy trying to take pictures of people with their dogs, barns, barns and more barn. Then there were Amish pictures etc. etc. So that’s my story.
I have had some serious health issues since December 30, 2013. I just signed up for a “Lifetime Membership”, so I am not quitting blipping but doubt if I will continue blipping everyday. Thanks to everyone who has looked at my blips, commented on them and sent love and good wishes my way during these two years.
Oh and I must mention before blip I never took pictures. I had at the time a Canon Point & Shoot camera. I now have 3 cameras and a new lens. I now love photography. I have formed some wonderful friendships with people from all over the world. The world has never looked the same to me.
Blessings to you all,
Mar Milner
