The Temperate House, Kew

The Temperate House is undergoing a 5 year restoration. At the moment it is possible to step inside the door and see what's going on ( it's also possible to be taken on a tour explaining the project, which we will try to do over the summer).

Nearly all the plants have gone now - we went to a talk a few months ago in which the project manager explained how some plants have been moved, some propagated, etc

We must have walked all of a mile. Afterwards, Houblon was tired, but he has a good excuse.... I was exhausted and spent the evening wrapped in a fleece blanket and shivering, barely able to keep awake. I can't believe that I ran 20 miles only a month ago!
