Let's Head North

As I left the hairdressers bright and early on yet another dismal day, I could see a lightness in the sky - sun was shining further north.

I said to hubby when I got home, 'Lets head north for the day', within half an hour we were ready to go. We left behind drizzle and low cloud, found sun and lapped it up, it was warm and felt unbelievably good. Native birds were singing their little hearts out while autumn leaves gently fluttered by on a light breeze.

Needless to say we have returned to rain, rain and more rain. I'm glad we made the effort to leave the jobs behind and seek the sun - Let's head north was the answer for today.
