Hello in There
I entitled this macro purple after a song that I've loved a long time. John Prine's Hello in There.
I often wonder, why when people pass others that they avert their eyes...they purposely don't make eye contact and especially when they're passing the lonely, the elderly and the poor and downtrodden. Is it because we don't know what to say or we feel so disconnected from them? Deep down we all share so many of the same sadnesses and joys and sometimes , just a simple Hello can make a huge difference to another . What are we so afraid of? If we reach out will we tap something also very vulnerable within ourselves?
