He couldn't believe his good luck!

The squirrels usually have to perform gymnastic tricks to land on this platform feeder in search of some peanut treats. To their delight, no gymnastics were necessary today. Either the wind or a visiting deer had broken the chain during the night. Result: the feeder and its load of peanuts (and snow) were within easy reach. The squirrel wasn't the only one to get some treats. These visitors couldn't quite understand what was wrong with their feeder, but they ate the treats anyway.
