Epic journey!

Had to go to a place called Dinnet away over in the far east! "lets use the sat nag" suggests the hubster! Well the bloody thing took us two entire hours off course. At one point we were almost in Aberdeen! I pulled up in a lay-by on the A 90 for hubby to look at a map! I wasn't encouraged when he kept flipping pages looking for this bloody place called Dinnet which he though was called Thinnet!. I wanted to get off the A90 as the cars were whizzing past like bloody Brand Hatch and at this point hubby almost had a melt down!
We never had this bother when he simply used the friggin map but oh no we had to use the 'new technology" Well this flaming sat nag behaved like a Fisher Price toy and kept trying to direct us to Kirrimuir!! Perhaps she knew the Ballad the Ball of Kirriemuir!
Then we went over some road called the Spital of Glenshee!! for a while I thought I was in a parallel universe ! it was uphill and down dale , then I passed an old bloke walking along the road with a pair of skis!!! at this point any snow was way up the hill and then only in little gullies.
Finally found Dinnet and the folks innit! Got what we came for then enjoyed their hospitality and company and took the dogs out for a nice plod
The journey homeward was less traumatic and we finally got home at 1.30am. Parking the van meant a little bit of revving uphill, doors sliding open & shut , then hubby thought it was Wed (which technically it was ) but he thought we were going into Thurs so started filling the bin & bumping the bin up the steps , then he had to feed the rabbit & his hutch was full of snails so he took the lid off & hauled them over the wall. Got in then realised he was a day ahead with the bins so dragged them back in. By this time I'm sure the folks next door were well and truly awake but it serves them right cause she puts the bloody washing machine on at 7am every morning!

413 miles covered today ! I need a rest! The only photo I got was this one of a waterfall outside Dalmally in the morning

I was going to add a link for the Ball of Kirremuir but as I know most of the verses decided to let you google it yourselves if you are so inclined! Don't say I didn't warn you!
Writing this at 2.30am.
