If it had been a woman, there’d be less mess. We’re clearing out the attic and Ronaldo’s having a ball, throwing out our clutter – and adjusting what’s left.

Alarm set for 05:15 today, so HH could have another shot at reaching São Paulo. Desperate call from São Paulo around 10 to find out where he was. Calls to his mobile going straight to the message box (I swear his phone knows no other response). Searches for flight info, half an hour to get clearance for an international call from my mobile, to give the client some feedback (French number). Just as I got it, an incoming call from HH – at last! Flights cancelled again, contact with client reestablished, now at lawyer’s office in Rio sorting things out. Really…..

Sewing lady cancelled because of the rain – she’s probably sensible, the traffic would have been awful, and there’s probably some flooding, certainly plenty of mud, where she lives. Wonder what’s happening at the World Cup and Olympic sites. Brazillllllllllll !!!
