Association Shoutball...

When you're cycling across the bridge and you see an unusually large object emerging from the landscape that looks completely out of place, you do really have to go and investigate.

Don't know what the reason is as apparently the Association Shoutball (saying borrowed from Wingpig) Cup isn't decided for a wee while yet, but this hot air balloon was shaped like the Scottish cup and took off right in front of us.

Seeing a (two in fact, there was also a standard shaped Wonderbra balloon.) hot air balloon taking off really makes you want to try it. Looks like a rather graceful and peaceful way to get around.
