Sanding the floor

I'm preparing the room for my mother, so it will be ready when she arrives on Thursday. We have a guest room, but that is located in the basement, and since my mother can't walk the stairs, that's not an option. We live in a big house, and here on the main floor we have four bedrooms, thereof one that has been empty since our younger son moved between rooms shortly after Christmas. But since he didn't take all his stuff with him the room was far from empty ;) But I'm almost done clearing out, just need to sell one big desk, to make more space.
