A fond farewell

Today was the funeral of a much loved man. He was the father of a work colleague but also someone I have known since teenage years. The funeral was in the local hall and every seat was taken with a few people having to stand. A really fitting farewell to a very community orientated gentleman.

I couldnt stay for the buriel but stopped at the top of the hill to take this shot of the many people who did make it.
