Spring in Toon

A brief jaunt into Newcastle to buy birthday presents for my nephews. We're heading to Scotland over the weekend to see my family & although it's a couple of weeks until their birthday (they're twins) I want to leave the presents with my brother rather than post them. Today spring finally arrived here, the chill wind had disappeared & the warmth from the sun was very welcome!
For those blippers not from the NE of England, this is the Civic Centre in the centre of Newcastle. Not the bonniest of buildings but the greenery round about makes up for it!
