Water Gate house

The housing unit for the Gate Opener.

Inside is a cistern and bucket which is connected via pulleys to the gate. The cistern fills with water automatically, when either operating rope is tugged and released water fills the bucket, weight of the water pulls the gate open. There are holes in the bucket allowing the water to drain away, approx 1 minute, as the weight is reduced the gate closes.
