Miffy square (Nijntje pleintje)

The creator of Miffy, Dick Bruna, is from Utrecht. A little square has been dedicated to his creation, Miffy.

I was in the Utrecht this morning for a meeting and had some time at my hands afterwards. So I set out on another attempt to get my hands on the Samsung tablet I wanted. The first shop didn't have it and it wasn't possible to order one (it has been replaced by a newer model, way more expensive). The second shop did have it. Even though they didn't accept gift vouchers either, I decided to buy it anyhow. I've got my heart set on this particular tablet, so I thought I'd better buy it when it's possible. I'll save the gift vouchers for another occasion.

Before setting out for the tablet I already made another purchase that made me very happy. It may seem a bit silly to be happy about something so trivial... I bought a little thermosbottle. I do miss my coffee when I set out for an early walk and I wasn't able to find a little thermosbottle, one easy to take along. And today I found one of 0,25 litre, just enough for my first need for caffeine. ;-) And it's pink!
