It seems to work again!

Last evening my DVD recorder was refusing to work off the guide which was somewhat annoying as J did not want to watch what I wanted too - so respecting her wishes I decided to record what I wanted to watch later in the week. However for some reason it would not start which was somewhat annoying!! Tonight I tried again recording to a disc rather than the hard drive and it seems to be alright. I will have to try the hard disc later but luckily the machine is still under guarantee.....
