Spring unfurls

Every year our tree fern puts forth new beautiful shoots that slowly unfurl from the centre, which is a mass of these new hairy fronds. Definitely hairy babies !

And every year I visit the nursery and count how many there are before they shoot skyward. This year a bonanza - 20 new fronds...

The picture is not brilliant - I'm finding the pressure of a new picture every day ON the day quite tricky, because I want them ALL to be good. But I haven't got time amid the chaos of family life. I dare say I haven't got the skills either but I'll brush over that part! Anyway it is what it is and it's nice to record this annual event in our garden...
