My bird shot.

When I rose it was a very misty morning but quite nice.

Just read and coffeed in the morning. I must say, this was an early holiday, but there have still been some very impressive Weeping Willows this trip.

Another heron safely blipped before the bacon butties were served. Here he is.

The sunken boat we passed early in the week is still there - well it would have been surprising if it hadn't been there, wouldn't it!

We were probably the only family that thought this morning's weather was just mist but in the afternoon we had a phone call telling us about the Sahara dust. It certainly hasn’t been too bad here.

There was great excitement when a Kingfisher was snapped – not by me though - my reflexes are much too slow these days for something like that!

After a few games of patience I peeled the potatoes and we arrived at Great Haywood Marina and moored up.
