Wasted

After being in Essex yesterday I travelled north and stayed in Bedford for the night, as it was only five minutes from the site I was going to visit today. I thought there was little point in getting up early due to the short distance, so had a lie in till 8am.

Got a phone call not long after I woke up “ah I forgot to ring you yesterday, the site has been cancelled and we’ve got nothing going on today.” *sigh*

It’s been a bit of a wasted day; at least the weather is gorgeous though. I wish I could have gone walking on the hills.
