Police Scotland Day 13, year 2 - Cross country...
Two Police Scotland officers ‘crossed’ the border last week and came home as champions after winning the British Police cross country championships in Chester.
Constable Cammy Wilson, who works in Glasgow City Centre, and Constable Dianne Lauder, based in the Borders, won the male and female races respectively. Cammy led from start to finish and beat 184 finishers over the hilly 10K course with a superb time of 35.14mins. He is the first Scottish winner since five-time champion Steve Cairns last won it in 2005.
