The last day of Four

It started with A trip the museum to play with Science. Bangs, flashes, flames, smoke and other cool stuff...

Space at Summerhall next. Infrared cameras, control panels of the starry skies, telescopes and micro robots.

Meadows play park next.

And an ice cream with flake and strawberry sauce for the long walk home. (And a few turns on my shoulders).

A perfect day for the last day of being Four.

The excitement is growing. The "sleeps" countdown is almost complete. Now it's only "one sleep" till the big day.

"Will I get to go to school on Monday after I turn 5? Will I?"
"Nope. You've got a long, fun summer before that, dude."

Then bed. Amazed he actually went straight to sleep. Then we got ready for the big day... Mummy outdid herself again with the cake making... Can you guess who it is?
