Protective or what !

I have passed this moorland sheep and her lamb for the past few days and noticed that she kept it apart from the other sheep in the flock. This morning I spotted them near the road but as soon as I was out of the car she was stamping her feet and hustling it away. She had obviously heard about these blippers!
