Locked in/out

Early conference calls followed by a trip to Starbucks to meet a postdoc at ucsd that is interested in finding out how I made the transition into sales.

Got a few things printed at staples for my upcoming show then back to the office.

Left again for lunch with vendor then back to the office via the gas station. Spent the afternoon writing a reference for one of my best friends back home who want to become a foster carer.

Tonight we had a meeting with the pest control people who will be fumigating our row of houses for termites next week. We move out for 3 days and luckily can move into a friends place who's dog we are looking after while they are away for 2 weeks.

In order to allow the fumigators access to our place we dropped off the key to them at the meeting. Forgetting we were giving them the only key we had on us at the time I locked the door behind us. Safe to say when we got back to the house we realized our mistake as did babe behind the locked door.

It was a bit the like the farmer, the fox, the chicken, the bag of grain and the boat on the river.....
