Growing Creativity!

I have just spent a very inspiring and energizing day in Sydney, at the annual Conference put on by Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design. This 3 day conference highlights various creative entrepreneurial speakers and artists.....offering so much information and suggestions about how to make your business more successful. Having been in business now for over 28 years i feel like i know a lot of this stuff...but boy it sure lights a fire under my sorry ass.....i'm ready to make changes and move forward....with lots of WOW - that was used many many times today...the WOW factor! Feeling a bit overdone but not so much that i am exhausted, just have a renewed sense of purpose going into the studio this week! The timing of this conference is just so spot on....any later and we'd already be in crunch time of preparation...right now, there is lots of time to spend creating a more inviting showroom space. I remember after last years conference i was pumped and did make quite a few changes in my showroom and came up with some new produce. I can feel the same energy now!

This is Sarah Richardson giving her very dynamic presentation! She is the host of four celebrated HGTV series, watched by millions i've been told....i'd never heard of her.....anyhow, apparently whilst in the Gallery shop she purchased some of the local artists work....mine was one of them!

And now, home again.....a nice quiet evening with my honey!
