Wow

550 year old interior wall on Crichton Castle in Midlothian, based on some of the castles and architecture in Europe the Earl of Bothwell saw when he was on one of his frequent trips out of the country, having annoyed someone and needing to lie low for a bit.

Out for a day visit with the Fowlers and very relaxing it was too. Beautiful spring day, dog, children getting on and having a whale of a time in the open air. Wouldn't have got Floss there without the chance of a chat to Georgie and yet its done her the world of good to be walking in the country in bare feet and chatting away to someone she's known all her life pretty much (she's four months older, to be fair). Applies to me too.

Relaxing evening catching up on washing and a bit of mindless tv (Classic Car Rescue which is such a fake show, but no doubt very cheap to make for an hour) and some cards. Now to do some filing and tidying (maybe).
