Fell Pony

Dozens of them living wild or free on the hillsides near Mungrisedale Common. They are technically 'wild' but become very tame when it comes to food. They get their heads in the car and if you make the mistake of mingling with them with food in your hand they can get jealous of one another and start kicking indiscriminately. Still fine looking animals!
