Shadows on Boulevard St. Germain

Taken from the 83 Bus, in motion, just after the Blvd. St. Germain begins, a little way past the Assemblé National (see the map). A beautiful sunny day and very late afternoon, still a bit chilly. The round thing in the middle of the image is a streetlight :)

We were returning from the Musée Jacquemart André, after seeing an exhibition on the Fêtes Galantes of Watteau, Fragonard and others. A very good show, highlighting a major theme of the French 18th century, with many loans from top-quality collections.
