I got the bus to Evie and walked down the track to the shore of the Sound of Eynhallow. Lots of hares around but all taking to their furry heels far away and beyond camera range.
I walked north a little, then turned south and on past the iron-age broch of Gurness, along The Mello to the Point of Vestray. Three horses seemed to appear from nowhere and walked along the strip of land between the Loch of Vastray and the sea, at the Point of Vastray. This horse seemed to be the leader.
I left the shore at Woodwick, walking up a path by the stream there to the road and to Tingwall. More shotshere.
