Week 4 day 3. Done!

I am now half way through my C25K training programme. This is an app that claims to be able to take me from couch potato to being able to run 5k in eight weeks. It's all scientifically researched to build up your strength as you follow the workout 3 times a week. Well, so far so good.

This all started because miniman now rides his bike to nursery when it's nice down the canal tow path and to be honest I just couldn't keep up with him. Now I'm not too far behind and he's got so used to the voice coming out of my phone telling me when to walk & when to run we got onto the tow path this morning and he said 'begin running Mummy!'.

I shall be pleased when I can not only run down with him but then turn round and run all the way back up past the locks on the way home. At least while I'm on my 'walking' phases I can still get a morning blip of the canal.
